Volunteer Coordinator - Non-Exempt Position
Hospice of Union County provides compassionate, quality care to individuals suffering life-limiting illnesses, regardless of ability to pay, and to serve as a clinical, ethical and spiritual resource for family members as well as others in our community affected by death and dying. We have served the community since 1984 and have three hospice houses on our campus in Monroe.
We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to manage our volunteer program. The individual will develop, implement and monitor performance towards meeting goals, objectives, policies and procedures that guide and support our volunteer services program. Also, the individual will recruit, train, manage and maintain current records/information on all volunteers as well as assure compliance with external agencies, including, but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid.
Individuals interested in this position must have excellent communication, organizational and networking skills. Also, proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Publisher is needed. Please send resume and references to wberg@houc.org.
