The Annual Golf Classic has fast become one of the Chamber's most popular events filled with great fellowship, networking, fantastic food and 'friendly' competition. This years tournament will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at Raintree Country Club. Players are eager to enjoy a round of golf surrounded by the beauty of spring in Matthews. Registration starts at 10 AM followed by lunch sponsored by Piedmont Natural Gas and a 11:45 AM shotgun start. There are many door prizes, awards and silent auction prizes to be won as well as an opportunity to win a automobile with a hole in one score on one of the par 3s. After golfing the players will be treated to cocktails, dinner by Outback Steakhouse & awards. The community benefits as the Chamber will be donating a portion of the proceeds.
